My Sister Ocean is excited to announce the release of 3 brand new studio tracks released online only TODAY. The title of the release is The IndoctriNation EP. It features 3 studio recordings and 9 live recordings.
The 3 tracks were recorded and mixed in 2 days at Powersound Studios in Edmonton in May 2008. The songs were written by My Sister Ocean and produced by Holden.
In addition to the 3 studio tracks, fans can download 9 more MP3s from a live performance in August 2008 at the Urban Lounge in Edmonton. The video from that entire performance is also on YouTube.

This EP is available for free only until it shows up on iTunes – at which time it will become ’stream only’ on the band website, and the iTunes EP will only have 2 live tracks instead of 9. Which gives fans ABOUT A MONTH to spread the word and get the free stuff before time runs out!

The inspiration behind the new EP was the book The God Delusion by British biologist Richard Dawkins, particularly the song IndoctriNation.
